Employment Opportunity for a
Project Officer
To be based in Ho Chi Minh City:
1. Ensure smooth
implementation of projects by organizing, planning and concluding necessary partnerships
according to project activities. Perform monitoring visits to project sites to
ensure timely implementation and other TDY upon request.
2. Ensure
compliance with project reporting requirements in a timely manner and draft
periodic reports and actively participate in the preparation of the projects
budget monthly expenditures.
3. Advise on country
new developments and on relevant trends/ policies in the field of migration and
more particularly in the field of counter-trafficking, gender-based violence,
urban poverty or climate change.
4. Prepare and
contribute to the conceptualization of ideas for project proposals.
5. Establish and
maintain positive relations with relevant governmental, non-governmental
entities, mass organizations, private sectors as well as other international
organizations and local NGOs on programmatic issues.
6. Contribute to
strengthen and support Government’s response to the increased and vulnerability
of migrants, particularly in urban context.
7. Assist in the
planning and coordination, and making needed arrangements for
seminars/conferences, meetings, and presentations.
8. Assist in the
fundraising activities with the relevant donor communities.
9. Provide
guidance and support to assigned interns as advised.
10. Attend meetings
as required.
11. Draft speeches
12. Undertake translations,
and/or act as interpreter as necessary.
13. Perform other duties as assigned
by the HoO and/or CoM.
Requirements:
-
At least 5 year experience in law, development or
related field and managing projects

Knowledge and experience in results-based monitoring
and evaluation required

Good financial management skills required.
